Launched a successful technology solutions company, developing custom software for managing and tracking thousands of satellite installers across America. The custom software often involved being inventive about data visualization as my client's organizational heirarchy was fairly deep. It was my task to give them intuitive user experiences through which to discover which subcontractor was dragging down their metrics.

Performed research and analysis on a novel method of RF communication. Created methods by which to make the results and significance of the research understandable to interested parties via 3D interactive visualizations.Patents:No. 63/498,494, entitled SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION USING SEQUENCED PULSE-MODULATED SINEWAVES, filed April 26, 2023.No. 63/503,380, entitled SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING A SIGNAL USING INVERTED MIRROR IMAGES OF THE SIGNAL, filed May 19, 2023.

As my first job after getting my Computer Science degree, I was originally hired by Greater Goods when it was a fresh start-up. Their strategy was to create an app-connected body scale that could avoid the overhead of a Bluetooth chip by utilizing the phone's camera and using the segments of the display to communicate the data visually.It was my task to create an algorithm that would grab frames from the video stream and use computer vision algorithms to identify and decode the output of the scale (not simply the numbers, as the segments needed to be utilized more efficiently to include the bio-metric data). We eventually were able to make this algorithm so performant that we decided to introduce an artificial delay before indicating success because the users tended to assume that something went wrong (that is to say, the efficiency of the algorithm was literally hard to believe).After that task was completed, I decided to move out of state and put in my two weeks. A month or two later, they gave me a call offering me a remote position (which was a lot less common pre-covid). My task was to write the rest of the app that tracks the user's bio-metrics and saved it to "the cloud" via AWS products. We ended up having roughly 300,000 users per day using our app to track their weight. And the statistics indicated that people who used the app more were more likely to lose weight. The company was (and still is) very socially conscious and it was a great experience to be making something that improved the lives of thousands of people.During this time, I was also tasked with creating their website and as product sales on Amazon increased, I was asked to create a system that used the marketplace API to detect new sales and send emails out to introduce the customer to their product.For most of my employment there, I was the only developer in the company and we were starting from scratch. It was a great opportunity and I learned a lot during my time there.
