I am strategic leader with a track record of driving transformative change across a series of diverse national and international not for profit organisations. I am seen as commercially astute with an entrepreneurial instinct, and extensive experience of managing multimillion dollar budgets and achieving measurable, cost-effective results. My experience spans income generation, strategic partnerships as well as brand building, business development and communications strategy. Having been part of senior leadership teams across a number of organizations I have helped to create dynamic organisational strategies that drive future success. With over five years of experience as a Director of Fundraising and Private Sector Partnerships at the World Food Programme (WFP), I have developed and implemented effective strategies to mobilize resources and engage with diverse stakeholders in support of the humanitarian and development goals of the world's largest hunger-fighting organization. I have led a team of professionals across regions and functions, managing a portfolio of over $500 million in annual contributions from corporations, foundations, and individuals. These achievements at WFP build on my track record at UNICEF, Oxfam and in the UK the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).I have a strong background in nonprofit management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and change management, with a Bsc(Econ) in Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I am passionate about creating and nurturing partnerships that deliver value for both the private and the public sector, and that advance the global agenda of ending hunger and poverty. I am currently on a break, exploring new opportunities and challenges in the field of social change and partnerships.
