Manager of 140+ hourly and up to 17 salaried employees, across 3 shifts, responsible for the safety, quality, production and cost of the unit to base, prep to ship and pipeshop assembly cells. Extensive supply chain and operations position that includes tactical shop management and strategic materials management. Responsibilities span entire product life cycle from customer inquiry to factory production to end shipment to site/port

Lead a team of 75+ people with responsibility for day to day business operations in highly engineered gas turbine shroud and diaphragm machining shop. Machining cell consisted of lathes, horizontal and vertical milling, creep feed grinding, sinker EDMs and high spreed drilling. Solved simultaneous equations in safety, quality, delivery and cost through variable overhead and rigorous operational GE playbook. Became the change-agent needed to farm-in three new product lines to double cell capacity during a period of 40% growth.

Directly responsible for the insourcing of all B&E Power Nozzle repair into the Greenville, SC plant. Qualification of the Greenville site plus entire supply chain surrounding power nozzle repair driving 6 sigma quality. Coordinated plant floor layout of new cell and all workstations using lean concepts and techniques.

Directly responsible for 1st shift operations in the Unit to Base and Prep to Ship Cell. Proven leadership to manage 45 hourly employees to meet safety, quality, production and delivery metrics, as well as drive continuous improvement across key business objectives.Greatly exceeded all goals and objectives highlighted by highest year over year increase in productivity throughout the plant.
