Imagine creating unique ideas and designs, develop them into real places and experiences and have them entertain millions of people throughout the world. By using my design and artistic talent, I “created visions” that turned ideas into places and places into experiences for Disney Parks worldwide.During my 34year career at Walt Disney Imagineering, my creative focus was on “Visions for the Future” and seeing them get built! I began my creative career by sketching and visualizing the early concepts for EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World, then leading the design and production teams for the Living Seas Pavilion for EPCOT. For my favorite Disney projects, I was the Project Designer and led a team of very talented Imagineers on two of Disney’s Tomorrowlands – Disneyland Paris’ DISCOVERYLAND and Hong Kong Disneyland’s TOMORROWLAND.All in all, I developed concepts, invented ride systems and developed attractions for hundreds of Disney projects that extended over five Disney themeparks throughout the world. In all cases, I took these projects from concept design through construction and through “opening day”. It was an exciting and very rewarding career!Today, I am continuing my creative career with my own design company, Tim J. Delaney Design Inc. Once again, I am thrilled to be bringing my innovative design philosophies to the “real world” and using my expertise and experience to bring success to my client’s projects.
