I grew up in Chico and graduated from Chico High School. Following graduation I started working at Spray Chem as an entry level water treatment and equipment maintenance tech. Over the past 29 years, I’ve developed and currently manage the water treatment and equipment departments, assist with the sanitation department, and manage the HR, Finance & Bookkeeping. I’m a member of the Association of Water Technologies, CWT Certified, and 20% owner of the company.I’m a past member of Vistage International, and a current member of the Chico Executive Group, a private association of 18 leading CEO’s & senior executives representing more than 325 years of business management/leadership experience. Our mission is to live better lives, lead better businesses, and build better communities. My greatest passion is learning. I go through 12-25 audio books a year, research anything I don’t know how to do, and take every opportunity to learn from those around me. When I’m not working in the business or on the business, I’m either taking care of my family, fabricating something in my shop, or working on a 4 wheel drive. My number one hobby is building or driving 4wheel drives. I’m a founding member of the Norcal Crawlers 4Wheel Drive Club which is a family oriented off-road organization. I routinely hit the trails of Northern California such as Rubicon, Fordyce, and High Lakes. I’ve been involved with the “wheelin’ with Cops Adventure” and the “Wheelers for the Wounded of CA” since they began. I’ve been a committee chairman for Winch Hill 1 or 2 at Sierra Trek for the past 17 years and I’m the Norcal Crawlers contact for the Friends of the High Lakes Adopt a Trail program.
