New Urban Villages is a concept to completion Development and Investment Manager. We create, deliver and manage Build to Rent as well as major Logistics and some Commercial assets. In making places better we always look to enhance the amenity of the property and surrounds. We are currently working on a number of Build-to-Rent projects in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane. We work for a small number of clients, representing their investment interests so that they can make the best returns from their investments and assets. Our work is normally done by undertaking property development projects that lead to investments or recycling of capital. We have previously worked as Development Managers for large logistics sites in Western Sydney.We focus on creating places that are exceptional to occupy (and profitable) and we integrally understand the linkage of value to amenity and the experience of living and working in great places while getting the most efficiency out of the investment. The delivery of this packaged system also improves tenant retention (occupancy) and the ability to maximise revenue and profit.

Initially employed to deliver 4,000 new Student Accommodation beds into the University's investment portfolio, the role expanded into now being responsible for a portfolio that comprises Student Accommodation, Logistics (land & development), Investments and Major Portfolio Projects. The Student Accommodation portfolio is over 1500 beds. The team was responsible for Development, Delivery & Investment Management. Managed and developed a portfolio of large Logistics and Residential land bank assets (over 500 Ha) and was also responsible for the Investment Portfolio and its Management. There was also a Rural Property Asset management function over a series of commercial farms.

Graystone is an integrated Property Investor & Manager, Property Developer,Project Manager & Builder. Its focus is on large Commercial and Industrial Business Parks that were developed and held in our own investment portfolio. The group managed over $300M worth of commercial and business park properties that we had also developed.

The team focused on off-market Student Accommodation Projects, often in JV. We also completed some significant Commercial Office projects and Business Parks (i.e. over $150M). The main business was a mixture of commercial office and student accommodation projects where we were often the creator, developer and in some cases had an equity position. The largest of these was the Australian National University (ANU) joint venture that developed around 1,900 beds that are now the current generation of Student Accommodation between the city and the Australian National University campus in Canberra.

Commenced as the Development Manager for the Steel River (100Ha) Industrial development project that involved remediation, subdivision, infrastructure and then redevelopment of a major industrial site. Concurrently moved into JV projects in the Business Park space for our development projects.
