I lead the Leadership Development programme in Nottinghamshire Police. I'm passionate about developing our leaders, inspiring them to be the very best that they can be, so they can go and do the same with their teams in the demanding and challenging world of Policing. I served as a Police officer for over 27 years with Nottinghamshire Police, the last 10 years as a Detective Inspector working predominantly in the City of Nottingham. I performed a number of roles, including Crime Manager, Intelligence Manager and Divisional Investigation Team Manager. I led investigations into the most serious of offences, including murder, attempted murder, serious sexual assaults, armed robbery and kidnapping. I managed threats to life, and investigations into reports of vulnerable people missing from home.I use this experience, as an officer, investigator and leader, to design, deliver and manage a programme of leadership learning which is relevant to any organisation, both inside and outside of policing.
