I built and led a highly skilled team to manage a global center for product testing. I served as Program Manager for the new-customer Expert Support Lab supporting 125 engineers and oversaw a $1+ million lab budget. Overall, I maintained 100% accountability for achieving efficient 24/7 operations.A special accomplishment in this role involved partnering with 2 subordinates to work with PUC, Cisco switch ASIC engineers, and multiple department directors to enable seamless interconnectivity of fast fiber switches between Cisco buildings and labs.

I designed, built and integrated an entire system with NT technology for a 20-person dotcom company. In addition, I provided troubleshooting network and hardware support to other clients.Earlier Career:SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER, Battery & Power Electronics, Space Systems LoralSupervised Power Lab and team of 3 lab engineers, managing performance of long-term testing of commercial satellite NiMH batteries. Served as subsystem power engineer for commercial satellites and the Space Shuttle. In that role, earned an award for outstanding and timely performance; one of 4 engineers to receive an Outstanding Performance Award from Rocketdyne. R&D ORBIT DYNAMICIST, Ford AerospaceDesigned computerized orbits for satellites and performed extensive design and programming for various commercial satellites. In addition, taught orbit dynamics classes to commercial and Air Force personnel. MISSION ANALYSIS DESIGN ENGINEER/ORBIT DYNAMICIST, OAO/McDonnell Douglas/NASAAfter being brought in to help the Space Shuttle descent design team meet a critical goal for a large software delivery required for emergency landing situations, collaborated with 3 other engineers to deliver a software design that enabled NASA to achieve precise energy monitoring and project a successful landing site in case of an aborted launch.
