My first major break through in the chosen profession of my degree. Working with Perfect was a challenging and rewarding role that required me to put into practice all my skills and experiences from my education and workforce into practice in a professional setting. My role required me to manage an employee database of over 300+ individuals with 120+ active daily. A major contract that i helped to fulfill was finding RIW inducted laborers to fill positions on the Northwest Rapid Transit Project. This project involved demolition works on the Epping-Chatswood railway line and my sole job was to recruit over 40 Railway inducted workers to demolish old railway platforms. The contract was a success as these candidates were sourced effectively allowing the job to be fulfilled.Other recruitment projects include sourcing general - skilled laborers for the UTS Kuring-gai campus at lindfield, which was efficiently met aswell.My duties were but not limited to;• Posting/Checking Job Ads• Managing 360 recruitment process • Resume/Reference Checking• Preparing/Conducting Inductions• Managing Employee Database• Liaising with employees/potential candidates daily through email/phone use• Preparing & implementing HR policies such as grievances reports & evaluation reports• Adjusting HR policies to fit company direction (SHRM)/ attending weekly senior management meetings to direct path of HR function within company• Preparing and implementing employee handbook• Making sure company is on par with current IR legislation• Assisting operations department to meet urgent Labour demand.

This was a casual role that required an individual to process cold storage goods for all Coles stores across the NSW region. It was my duty to pick/pack and consolidate the goods before they were transported to the selected stores. In addition to this it was a KPI driven role, every day/every hour a specific number of goods had to be readied for transporting. This deadline had to be met inducing an individual to work in a highly pressured environment. Teamwork was also key in delivering these goods efficiently and productively.

During my university study, I undertook a part time job at a restaurant in North Bridge Sydney. My roles included attending customers, cleaning, and delivering food. I heave learned many skills during my stay. Such as managing my time with work, study, and social life. I have learned valuable customer service skills, treating them as my number one priority. In addition to this I have learned to work as a part of a team, and independently. On numerous occasions have learned to work under pressure especially in busy times. My stay was cut short as the restaurant closed. The skills I have learned will be a valuable transfer into the corporate environment.
