Full P&L responsibility for managing a chemical distribution business unit of a DAX listed multi-national. Chemicals/substances included inorganic chemical bulk distribution, speciality chemicals, Food and Pharma ingredients. Responsible for sales, operations, transport, finance, purchasing, safety and depot HR. Headcount was 23 employees.

Sales and management consultancy, predominantly working with an FMCG developing Alternative Use strategies for formulation chemicals.

A.V.E. Ltd was the group holding company for the speciality chemical manufacturing, environmental, recycling, waste processing, contract cleaning and hygiene businesses that I created in 1992. From Start-up I built a Tier 1 business/brand that initially designed, manufactured and supplied technical products for Blue Chip manufacturing companies such as Shell UK, BASF, Unilever, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, BNFL, GSK, Honda... We had Tier 1 status within the UK automotive sector, FMCG and petrochemical manufacturers, becoming the brand of choice in many other high profile technical sectors. Whilst growing the chemicals business I diversified the group to include Alternative Use solutions, recycling, hazardous waste collection and processing and domestic/business contract cleaning divisions.
