About Tim Kindler

Highly organised, conscientious, task oriented, autonomous individual, with a proactive can do attitude. My most effective approach to Management is through focusing on systems and scheduling. Through my breadth of both management and hands on experience, i have developed timely, effective, planning and problem solving skills. A significant strength of mine is in assessing & prioritising tasks, and having the flexibility to adapt and overcome when critical factors change. To counter the monotony of warehouse work-life i encourage my staff to own their roles, and I structure the workflow in project groups. Ownership & improved job satisfaction have enhanced agility, and kept wages down. Has also contributed to a really safe operating environment.I believe every good faith interaction is an investment in a future working relationship. I have the ability to engage and interact to effectively build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. To complement my professional experience i have been a volunteer basketball coach since 1993. In that time i have coached boys and girls teams in age groups ranging from u10 to seniors. I currently coach 3 teams (u12.1 girls A, u16.2 girls A & u19 girls AR) in the Knox league. I am also assistant coach for an u18 girls VJBL team.I also have experience coaching an u10 & u11 Little Athletics Relay Squad for the previous 2 seasons. I am currently coaching Hurdles for Knox Little Athletics, with kids ranging from u8 to u17 (4 won medals at Region Champs & 7 have qualified for VIC champs this season).Volunteer coaching has honed my ability to maintain positive learning environments and to manage performance. By accurately aligning goals to each individual's skill and confidence level, i have managed to help many individuals grow in ability and confidence, and achieve personal & team successes. My current role has provided a stable platform to be the best father possible to 3 young girls, who are not so young anymore. Now i'd like to pursue a more dynamic role that will challenge me to grow, and where my strengths will best contribute to the achievement of some productive goals, both organisation's and personal.

Acted as a Liason between Administartion, Engineers and Operations Departments. Ensuring transperancy and efficiency to effectively meet production, shipping and installation timelines. This was done through monitoring of production materials and staff by the relevant departments. I Was hands on assisting in various roles from receiving shipments, preparing batches of raw materials, to spray painting and packing containers. This assisted in gaining respect and a greater understanding of the demands placed on the operations department, leading to more effective production scheduling.A major focus of the roll was to monitor and improve communication and awareness for OH&S in the factory.

    P&R Air Conditioning Feb 2004 - Jul 2004
    Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Responsible for the direct supervision of 1-5 installation technicians and labourers to install heat reclaim systems in IGA supermarkets throughout Victoria & NSW.Quality was a high priority to ensure the system operated efficiently and effectively. Most of the new contracts were won based on word of mouth between franchisees and store Managers. Plans had to be checked & adjusted to suit actual dimensions & layouts of stores. Systems had to be clean & air tight, so attention to detail and constant inspection was essential.OH&S was also of major concern as all the jobs involved working at height, and inside suspended ceilings whilst the stores were still trading. Therefore work practices had to be planned & implemented to protect my team, store staff and the general public. This was mainly achieved through timely flexible planning & cycling through restricted areas in the least disruptive way negotiated with management.
