ConnectFutures works with young people, practitioners and communities to increase knowledge, resilience and confidence in preventing extremism and serious violence.

Young Manchester is a charity that strives to improve opportunities for all children and young people across Manchester. The charity's vision is to make Manchester a world-class city for children and young people where they are able to realise their full potential and prosper from the city’s economic growth.As the lead commissioner of universal Youth and Play services in Manchester, I oversaw city-wide grants totalling £5M+ and managed relationships with a wide portfolio of partners in receipt of funding. The funding enabled organisations to have a positive impact on the lives of over 6,000 children and young people in Manchester. I was part of the Senior Leadership along with the Director and Head of Finance.www.youngmanchester.org

Keep Britain Tidy is an independent environmental charity who campaign to reduce litter, improve local places and prevent waste.I created, developed and managed strategic partnerships for Keep Britain Tidy - focused largely on the international education programme Eco-Schools. www.ecoschools.global | www.eco-schools.org.uk

Envision brings together businesses, schools, charities and volunteers to provide a practical learning experience which enables young people to develop the skills they need to succeed in work and in life. In return, young people invest their time in developing projects which give back to the community.Working with businesses in a range of sectors (inc. finance, construction, residential, legal) to provide enterprise and employability mentoring for young people - aiding their skills development and the impact of their youth-led social action projects.Providing extensive training to over 120 employee volunteers in coaching and mentoring. Supporting corporate volunteers to work with young people across a 10-month leadership programme, whilst ensuring successful relationships with corporate partners.

I line-managed a small staff team tasked with engaging students who had completed a year of social action with Envision and were looking to continue to make a difference. We developed and delivered innovative volunteering opportunities throughout the year for young people to make a difference in their communities and increase their transferable skills. We also linked them up with local business professionals to further enhance their experience.Leading a dynamic, supportive team where we sought to problem-solve as a group and strive to constantly improve our processes and practices.

I project managed a portfolio of five schools and over 100 young people in some of the most disadvantaged areas in Birmingham, I mentored and coached 16-17 year olds through a year of social action. My role was to inspire, educate and support young people to make a difference in their local areas whilst developing their skills for employment. I also played a part in recruitment presentations, event planning, volunteer management and report writing.

I managed the development and delivery of The Co-operative Foundation programme Truth about Youth, which granted £5M to seven charity partners across the UK (The Prince's Trust, Envision, Young Scot, The Royal Exchange, Ovalhouse, Youth Focus North East and The Prince's Trust Cymru). I had the pleasure of working closely with these inspiring organisations to support 10,000+ young people in a variety of ways. Requiring an organised, personable and strategic approach, I worked with trustees of the Foundation to ensure the programme made an impact and charity partners could gain maximum value from the profile and network provided by the funding.The key goals of the programme were to; challenge the public's widespread negative perception of young people, foster inter-generational relationships and increase young people's transferable skills.

The DO School are an innovative educational organization offering learning experiences that create real global impact. Based in Berlin, they offer training, mentoring, and education for outstanding emerging social entrepreneurs to kickstart their own ventures all around the world. Through my experience of community development, I was asked to give advice and support to one of their fellows. I mentored a Ukrainian fellow of The DO School Program, Mariia, through the implementation stage of her venture - 'Wonderful'​ - engaging Ukrainians in taking social action and promoting the benefits this brings to people and their communities.

I assisted university students with learning differences to reach their potential in their academic studies. This relied on building trusting, inter-personal, professional relationships whilst listening and coaching students through issues they were facing with their studies.

Whilst studying Journalism at university, I worked part-time for South Yorkshire's largest regional newspaper, The Sheffield Star. As part of the Sports department, my role was to liaise with local league administrators to gather in results and reports, then sub-edit them and design pages for the Monday sports edition of the paper.

Selected to spend time as a Broadcast Journalist at BBC Radio Leicester, creating content for shows throughout the day and supporting presenters on production. Passed BBC internal Media Law for Broadcast Journalists course.
