Newest research topics involve electrification of aircraft propulsion with emphasis on electric motor technology for vertical take-off and lift aircraft.

Basic research for U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Vehicle Technologies. Conducted Mechanical Engineering Research with emphasis on power transmission systems for military helicopters. Research efforts included gear fatigue, experimental measurements of gear efficiency, gear tooth stress, gear wear and fatigue, fretting fatigue, condition based health monitoring, degradation of lubricants, application of finite element methods to gear systems.
