As a Senior Sales Associate, I am responsible for the hard goods department, which provides sporting equipment such as bicycles, skis, snowboards, soccer equipment and other various sports.I offer excellent customer service, which is frequently acknowledged by customers and fellow staff members.My effective time management skills are used when dealing with customers in such a fast-paced environment.Finally, I provide strong organizational skills and attention to detail when merchandising stock and setting up promotions according to company directives.

This was my final practicum with the University of Lethbridge. It was a professional internship, where I assumed the role of a half-time teacher. I taught two classes full time. This included frequent communication with the University, my mentor teacher and school administration. The completion of this internship was the final step for my education degree.

As part of the kids camp team, the position required supervision and instruction of large groups of youth from a variety of age groups. With a laid out schedule for the day, the Gracious Organizer was required to provide a safety and entertaining experience for the participants. In many cases, this required good communication and group management skills.During my employment, I had the opportunity to lead the Teen Club, which generally included 25-60 youth. This position required the ability to be creative and personable, as the leader had to provide options for the participants that were age appropriate entertaining.

I was a full-time competitive speed skater with the Olympic Oval High Performance Program. This program was designed for high ranking skaters and was coached by nationally accredited coaches. As an athlete I was committed to the following:-2 workouts, 6 days a week.-Season spanned from the beginning of May to end of March the next year.-Commitment to a disciplined nutrition regime.This experience required passion and dedication. Because of this experience, I have learned to incorporate these characteristics into everything I commit to.

The job of the Provincial Trainer works directly with athletes of the Manitoba Provincial Speed Skating Team. Due to the high level of sport, training sessions were a minimum of 4 times a week. The position required professional relationships with the athletes, all the while planning and communicating all of the training sessions to these athletes. The planning required advanced knowledge of fitness blocks and sport specific exercise regimes. The summer training is designed to prepare the athletes by providing a cardiovascular and strength base that will enable them to excel at their goals for the season.
