As a life long resident of Langley and now a business owner in the community, I look forward to joining forces with fellow stakeholders to showcase the Township of Langley and all it has to offer.

Building an audience of engaged craft beer enthusiasts both locally and beyond! @crafttourist is currently one of the largest craft beer focused Instagram accounts in BC with over 22K followers.The @crafttourist Instagram account exists to showcase BC craft beer from around the province as well as document my love for hiking. I take my followers along with me as I experiencing the nature beauty throughout BC one trail at a time followed by visits to local breweries. It is also a component of my blog website www.craftbeertourist.com.For three years, I also ran @bccraftbreweries Instagram account curating all the best daily content from nearly 200 craft breweries in BC including new beer releases, tap takeovers, collaboration brews, product launch parties, festival announcements and the like. This was also the home of The BC Craft Cares Initiative that raised over $28,000 for local charities.

For 11 seasons I worked with the amazing team at Redwoods Golf Course in North Langley. As the restaurant manager I was responsible for all front of house operations related to the restaurant, banquet and concessions services. I’m my time at Redwoods we hosted over 400 weddings as well as countless charity and corporate golf events. In 2017 we were honoured with The Langley Chamber of Commerce Service Excellence Awards. Something that our team worked very hard at everyday to achieve. Being part of an organization that does so much for its local community was truly rewarding.

I worked for Sammy J Peppers starting in 1997. I joined them as an assistant manager at the first location in Langley and spent 10+ years assisting with the growth and evolution of the company as a general manager and regional manager. It began as a single Grill & Bar location in Langley, BC and grew to a Restaurant & Lounge chain with 7 locations through out the lower mainland. Five of which I was part of the opening training team.
