• Manage all financial operations and budgets, with a staff of 18 personnel, for the units comprising Campus Services; Facilities Management, Public Safety, Parking, Transportation, Capital Planning & Construction, and Administration, with a gross operating expense budget of $103 million across 68 operating departments.• Represent the interest of Campus Services in University financial and customer related committees, process reviews, system upgrades and strategic initiatives. • Planned, designed and implemented a utility company model for managing a $38 million annual utility budget for the University which incentivizes schools and organizations to implement utility savings initiatives in electricity, water, steam, chilled water, natural gas and reclaimed water.• Plan, develop and monitor annual operating budgets with management based upon departmental functionality in addition to those of capital projects spanning multiple fiscal years.• Designed and constructed a personnel Position Control Number (PCN) system for tracking salary, budget, funding and approvals of changes for 850 personnel totaling $44 million.• Conduct analysis of financial and operating systems/processes to improve efficiencies, maintain financial integrity and insure adherence to financial ethics, policies and procedures.• Co-managed the design, conversion and implementation to a web-based work order system, establishing processes and procedures for work order creation and supporting functions including the creation of interfaces with other systems for the transfer of data and transactional information.• Partnered with financial leaders across Emory University and Hospital to convert the financial system from a mainframe system to Peoplesoft Financials, establishing data structures and requirements in the process.• Develop annual proforma and indirect cost reports by building and university organization for cost allocation and grant reporting purposes.
