  I have 38 years of experience and expertise in full ocean depth and shallow water multibeam sonar systems with many different systems and ships. I also have considerable expertise and knowledge of state-of-the-art autonomous underwater systems (AUVs) in both shallow and deep-water environments, together with experience with LiDar and Satellite derived bathymetry for very shallow waters. I also have considerable expertise and knowledge of state-of-the-art autonomous underwater systems (AUVs) in both shallow and deep-water environments, together with experience with LiDar and Satellite derived bathymetry for very shallow waters. Backscatter from multibeam bathymetry is a particular expertise for me. I have acquired and worked with data from all parts of the world: Atlantic (N&S), Arctic, Indian Ocean, Pacific Oceans, and the Mediterranean and Caribbean Seas. This was looking at seafloor seascapes for many differing themes, such as habitat mapping, seafloor mining, and geohazards.
