It seems I’ve always tried to make things around me “better”. I traded a baseball glove for my first bicycle and immediately got to work tightening spokes to true the wheels and lubricating the chain to free it up. Years later in high school, I bought my first car, a 1979 Trans Am that I paid for by washing dishes in a local restaurant. I still have that car and drive it often. (Let me tell you, you have to wash a LOT of dishes to pay for a Trans Am). The car has great value to me because I worked hard and paid for it myself. It is 40 years old and still beautiful and running great because I meticulously maintained it. And so my journey in maintenance and reliability began.I still get very excited when given the opportunity to improve something. But most rewarding for me is helping people achieve their potential and accomplish great things. And that starts with me being the very best I can be. I enjoy lifelong learning and read extensively in the fields of social science and psychology. I enjoy putting my passions and skills to good use by supporting organizations that I really care about. I’m a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and have volunteered my time at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
