Stealth app studio in San Francisco.

Engineer on Instagram's Creative Tools teams, specializing photo/video editing apps.- Built Boomerang from Instagram (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/boomerang-from-instagram/id1041596399) during a hackathon. The app now has over 20 million downloads, and is consistently Top 100 in Apple's App Store!- Developed the 11 most recent filters for Instagram (Clarendon-> Perpetua), and many of the photo editing tools (Fade & Tint). - Maintained Instagram's video stabilization library, as used in Hyperlapse: (https://vimeo.com/104410054)

Worked with Facebook's Site Integrity and Security. Specifically, built out the two-factor authentication system, rebuilt the CAPTCHA generation system, and added security to the mobile 'Login with Facebook' infrastructure. Also experienced real-time spam/attack fighting techniques, and tracked and monitored live attacks on the site.

Project Leader and director of Cornell University Sustainable Design (http://cusd.cornell.edu). CUSD is an interdisciplinary, student-led organization that aims to teach and raise awareness about sustainability though a series of design-build projects. The organization has completed in three Solar Decathlon entries, an international recognized, award-winning early education center in South Africa, sustainable housing in Nicaragua, and Cornell's New York City tech campus, among other projects.

Revamped and restructured the Product Filtering software to accomodate greater specificity and higher throughput. Restructured the system, migrated filtering rules into a NoSQL database, and build a web UI to allow easy manipulation of the rules.

Studied T-cell migration in a series of Immunodeficient patients. Namely worked with confocal microscopy to image and analyze live patient T-cells migrating through collagen matrices. Much of the work from my time here is still in peer review, so I cannot go into much detail.

Junior and then Senior Ski and Snowboard Instructor at Whitetail Ski Resort. Taught beginner to advanced lessons for ages 6 and up, predominantly working at the Kid's Mountain Camp for children between 6 and 12 years old.
