I have been involved in Public Safety from the days of my early teens. I pursued training and response at every opportunity and pushed that envelope whenever needed. I have seen and done too much in my High School years to list here. Finding the field of Fire and Rescue to be intriguing and challenging, most of my initial efforts were focused there. As the years of High School went by, I picked up things that were new and interesting at the time, but are now common place. As I pursued a career in the Emergency Services, I acquired further education from traditional colleges as well as some not so conventional sources. I was promoted up through the ranks, eventually I received the rank of Division Chief with the Bernalillo County Fire Department and retired as such. After taking two weeks off for retirement, I started with Sandia National Laboratories as an Emergency Incident Commander under DoE 151.1c in their Risk Management Division. This is where I continued to put my education to work, while adding still more. The Hyatt Regency was pursued during my tenure at Bernalillo County. This allowed me to add a civilian/retail component to my experiences. My talents have been applied to charitable and for profit organizations, all the way up to include National and International events and organizations.Given the chance, I stand ready to do it all again!
