Retrotec equipment is used around the world, by demanding professionals, to conduct residential energy audits, large building leakage tests, duct leakage tests, and clean agent integrity tests.● Updated NFPA 2001 Standard for NFPA and developed associated analytical software.● Researched and developed Large Building Testing standards for US Army Corp of Engineers.● Managed complete life cycle of flag-ship software and hardware products, including product definition, hardware and software specifications, development activities, test and calibration procedures, revision and update planning, product literature, documentation, and training.● Oversaw development of next generation testing equipment complete with software and APIs.● Developed Excel-based automated calibration platform, decreasing testing time and employee workload, while increasing repeatability, accuracy and automating report generation.● Created an interface between Oracle order-entry database and manufacturing jobbing system, automatically uploading the day’s orders complete with a detailed bill-of-materials. ● Handled all sales and technical support to 100’s of customers world-wide.● Attended trade shows, exhibitions and training events, presenting on our products, and giving demonstrations and training to customers and prospects. ● Composed and successfully claimed for SR&ED tax refunds for multiple years on multiple projects.

ECRI was founded to commercialize the patented Geographic Profiling technology based on the pioneering work of Dr. Kim Rossmo, with customers including the RCMP, US Military, US Bureau of ATF, and UK’s NCA.● Transformed PhD thesis on Geographic Profiling into a production software application marketed and sold to law enforcement agencies globally.● Oversaw Java development team managing feature requests, bug reports, software updates and customer rollouts.● Developed sales literature, marketing presentations and training materials and presented and trained law enforcement personnel around the world.● Created proposals for project funding to various institutions and managed all aspects of the reporting and invoicing.● Completed 18-month project on time, below budget and heralded as Canadian success story by the NRC.

Techware Systems was an industry-leading supplier of robotic control and retrofit solutions for the semiconductor industry.● Developed, installed, commissioned and provided after-market support for robotic control systems for semi-conductor industry customers in North America, Europe and Asia.● Developed multi-threaded, real-time control systems to concurrently control numerous process and robotic devices. Integrated them with plant-wide SCADA system.● Reverse-engineered legacy robotic control code in order to develop hardware drivers to replace outdated supervisory control systems.● Worked with customers to develop hardware interlocks, controls behavior, and human interfaces in multiple languages to suit their requirements.
