Responsible for key US and Canada customer inventory performance to meet high service level and inventory investment goals. Manage Customer specific inventory planning activities including product and service portfolio. Oversee the inventory planning team to meet the contractual obligations to performance.o Manages Customer specific inventory planning activities including product and service portfolio.o Interfaces with Customers, Site Associates, Service Center and Warehouse personnel, Regional Sales and Account Managers to understand and meet the customers current and future inventory requirements based on contractual obligations.o Establishes inventory goals and monitors vendor performance, VWR performance to the Customer, and Customer performance to contract.o Inventory planning systems and management, inventory assets management, data management and reporting, process development, process documentation and control, implementation of standard operating procedures.o The development, implementation, maintenance and control of all Supply Chain & Inventory Planning functions across two distribution facilities and multiple Customer consignment locations in US and Canada.o Data management and reporting development for internal and external customers, using VWR's systems (SAP, BEx, BW, Qlickview).o Custom programming solutions and relational database creation/support to help streamline workflow and accuracy within the Purchasing Department.o Manages DARE (Dead, At Risk, Excess) inventory at Territory and Region Manager levels to reduce customer facing inventory.
