Leading a new internal start up effort to centralize all major Application Development efforts across Nationwide Enterprise Information Technology.

Responsible for providing technology strategy, project execution, development and production run support for Sales, Marketing, Internet, Call Centers, Data Warehouse, Financial and e-Commerce platforms within Nationwide Financial. The IAS area encompasses greater than 475 IT associates with an annual project and operational budget in excess of $70 million.

Tim Lyons is Vice President of Business Solutions Services for Nationwide Financial (Fortune 104 company with over 160 Billion in assets). He is responsible for providing technological strategy and solutions supporting Sales distribution, Marketing, Internet, Call Centers and e-Commerce efforts. His areas of expertise include business and technology strategy, and the development and maintenance of systems to support business goals. Tim currently servies as the co-chair of the NAVA technology committee focusing on industry STP efforts within the Variable Annuity Industry.

Reporting to President of Sales and SVP of Individual Products, this position was focused on the technology strategy applied to the sales process for partner firms, their Investment Professionals, Wholesalers and Relationship Managers for Nationwide Financial. Tim served as the liaison into the Information Technology organization representing the Sales Organization on technology initiatives including internet, sales and marketing analytics, and eB2B strategies. The position involved frequent travel and "hands on" exposure to distribution partners, investment professionals and the wholesaling organization. Additionally, this position included executive business sponsorship of the Nationwide Internet Strategy.
