Sales Manager
CurrentThe Sales Supervisor assists the store management in providing leadership on the sales floor. This includes but is not limited to providing direction to sales associates, exercising independent judgment, acting with integrity and business maturity, exuding excitement, is approachable, confident, and driven to succeed. Sales Supervisors have the ability to build trust with staff and customers, listen to opinions, adapt to change, and be aware of their physical surroundings in the store in regard to staff and customer location within the store. The Sales Supervisor offers ideas and thoughts for improvements, follows company guidelines, is accurate with paperwork, participates in the organization and execution of store events, and acts as the interim Sales Manager in the Sales Manager’s absence. The ability to communicate to customers, staff, and corporate personnel is an ability the Sales Supervisor has in addition to the ability to express, explain, and promote company goals, guidelines, policies, and strategy. Sales projections are understood both in what they are and the reporting of results. A positive attitude along with a willingness to learn are qualities of the Sales Supervisor.
