As a partner in Pashman Stein's litigation and appellate advocacy practices, I represent all ranges of clients, including individuals, small businesses, and multi-national corporations and financial institutions, throughout the litigation process, from case inception through discovery, trial, and appeal. My practice encompasses a wide range of commercial and business disputes, including breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, business torts, and employer-employee disputes. I also regularly draw on my background in environmental and land use law to serve clients in connection with regulatory compliance, remediation obligations, and permitting requirements.

-Advised state agencies on application of federal and state environmental and land use laws to proposed natural gas infrastructure and residential, commercial, and industrial developments-Represented the State in all phases of civil litigation before various state and federal courts and administrative bodies, from initial case strategy through appeal-Primary drafter of all documents filed with relevant tribunals, from initial pleadings to dispositive motions and appellate briefs -Personally handled several trial and appellate arguments, including dispositive motions-Managed complex discovery processes, including drafting and responding to document requests, requests for admission, and interrogatories; and defended depositions-Performed direct and cross examinations of witnesses at evidentiary hearings.

Wrote bench memoranda on administrative, civil, and criminal appeals; edited opinions and orders for publication.

Wrote legal memoranda on Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act permitting issues; conducted legal research on state and federal land use and forestry regulations; drafted briefs to State Corporation Commission on pending power plant applications.

Wrote legal memoranda analyzing potential liabilities to the State; prepared for and attended hearings; drafted responses to discovery requests.
