Two years after starting my real estate career with Keller Williams Downtown Belleuve, WA I was invited to join the Agent Leadership Counsel, (ALC). To be eligible for the ALC, an agent must represent the company culture, be nominated by the leadership staff, and be in the top 20% of agents in their office. This dynamic ‘board of directors’ is actively involved in the leadership decisions that make the office more productive and profitable. Our roles are to inspire, motivate, participate and listen to the agents in our office. By having input from these associates, we can tailor the office strategies to ensure the ALC and our agents thrive in all stages of the market.All agents have a say in how our office is run and we are treated as business partners rather than just a number. This gives us the passion needed to make sure Keller Williams is the best place to run our real estate business.

The Investment Committee focuses on educating members about real estate investments covering topics such as Flip, Hold, Wholesale, Development, and Creative Deal Structures. As the Chair of the committee, I host the monthly meetings, schedule the training calendar, delegate project work to our leadership group, and guide members to their goals. The overall goal is for active attendees to build their brokerage business around investors, as well as, enabling them to begin their own investing. By collaborating together as a group, we will share information, experiences, and processes so we can both serve our clients at the highest level, as well as, buy our own winning investments.

Ignite is Keller Williams University’s signature training course for all real estate agents, agents new to KW, and those looking to grow their business to become "Capping" agents. It has a single objective—to propel real estate agents into immediate productivity leveraging the proven models and systems that power those of the most successful agents in the business.As an Ignite instructor, I teach classes of agents on various topics such as Winning with Sellers, Winning with Buyers, How to Build a Database and more. Each one of these classes is a clock hour course allowing attending agents to both learn how to get into production and fulfill their Continuing Education requirements from the DOL.

The Finance Committee focuses on the reading and interpreting of office financials to ensure budgets are met, educate members about how to read financial statements, and to make sure the office is profitable. As an Profit Sharing company, (Keller Williams gives 48% of their profits back to the associates responsible for the revenue) each office is open book and allows their agents to review all the company financials. As the Chair of the committee, I distributed the financials to attendees, walked through each report with the Market Center Administrator, and ensured office budget and profit goals were met. Additionally, during monthly Agent Leadership Counsel (ALC) meetings, I was responsible for "Calling Out" the financial health of the office while answering any questions from other ALC members.The overall goal of the Investment Committee is to allow for agents of the office to ensure the office is profitable so they can generate income from their Profit Share tree. In addition to this, members of the Finance Committee learn business principals critical to their own success.
