Working with customers and end users directly as well as over the phone and email to deduce what type of products would best fit their need.Entering, filling and shipping customer orders from approximately 7,000 industrial parts within a 20,000 sq ft warehouse. This included using ladder carts as well as multiple forklift varieties and a Crown Wave automated lift. The typical day included shipping out 230+ UPS packages and 2+ freights.Responsible for the production for a branch of 7 employees including payroll, time off requests, work assignment and quality assurance to ensure positive results and repeat customers. Regularly lifting packages in excess of 75 lbs.Processing outbound orders via UPS WorldShip, the USPS and FedEx websites, as well as Freightquote and EnterpriseTMS freight brokers.Checking in and putting inbound shipments onto the shelves to make them available for resale. This included transfers in from other branches as well as purchase orders from distributors.Purchasing and/or ordering supplies for both the warehouse and office areas.Opening the building up in the morning as well as going through the “end-of-day” processing and locking the building up in the evening. Production and distribution of cotton and rubber “mill hose”. This including any hose lengths from 1 to 100 feet as well as featuring either internal expansion or “band and buckle” couplings on the ends.
