We have our own proprietary system - 1track - which offers online booking (live wherever possible) across most of the world.In 2011 as part of our expansion strategy (and STA Travel’s recognition of the growing importance of rail to its customers) STA Travel became a shareholder and contracted International Rail to be its exclusive provider of rail technology.

Responsible for the day to day running of the company and the formulating, planning and implementing of technology strategy. Key responsibilities and achievements include:• Instrumental in growing International Rail to a multi-million pound business• Setup of a 250 person call centre and fulfilment office to support rail ticketing to customers.• Created International Rail's back office system and front end websites• Project managed the setup of multiple API connectivitys with rail companies.• Developed strong relationships with key global rail operating companies, including, SNCB, Rail Australia, Via Rail, Deutsche Bahn, ATOC and Trenitalia.
