My role as Director of Landfill Services for Pinchin Ltd. primarily involves developing the capabilities of our landfill team to service municipal and industrial clients across Ontario. I focus on supervising the team and project managers through design and compliance phases.As Director of Landfill Services, I ensure that clients are in compliance with respect to policies, procedures, and regulations. I cut through the uncertainty found in all phases of work in the landfill services industry by delivering clearly worded reports that meet the needs of all stakeholders. I prepare technical documents that can be understood by lay people, and ensure that all deadlines are met for reports submitted to government agencies.I work hard to identify opportunities to streamline compliance monitoring; providing efficiency and cost savings to clients (both municipalities and private sector) with long-term monitoring requirements, and assisting private clients with the additional requirement of financial assurance, in accordance with provincial regulations.Landfills cost money to operate, but a properly designed and operated facility should be an asset. We help communities realize the value of their landfill sites. In addition, we facilitate public, First Nations, and government consultations.
