Performs instruction and support of training for all crewmember activities involving the fielding of the new CH-47F (Chinook) Helicopter to the US Army. Performs duties as an academic instructor and instructor/operator in the Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS) and manages the NETT’s TACOPS/AMPS program. Evaluates performance and competency of rated aviators by conducting Standardization (SP/IP), Instrument Examiner (IE), and Maintenance Evaluator (ME) evaluations. Briefs and debriefs students concerning performance requirements, actual performance, and makes final decision as to students' successful accomplishment of course objectives. Recommends Readiness Level (RL) status to the Units Commander and SP upon completion of CH47F Instructor Pilot, Instrument Examiner, Maintenance Examiner, Maintenance Pilot, Pilot in Command, or Copilot evaluations. Performs instruction and support training for all flight engineer activities involving the fielding of the new Chinook Helicopter associated with the NETT. Subject matter expert for the development and production of simulator Instructor Utilization Handbooks and other training material.
