Sales Representative
CurrentPrimary contact for three outside sales reps from New England to Maryland including Long Island.Proactively recommend items needed by customers to promote customer satisfaction and increase transaction profitability.Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction.Provide accurate and timely response to customer requests and or inquiries relating to products, quotations, availability, order status or returns.Remain current on consumer preferences and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor training and through online or printed trade materials.Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the sales team.Communicate to buyers unexpected increases or decreases in demand and inventory levels for their respective product responsibilities.Travel with territory managers to better understand and build stronger relationships with our customer base.Attend and be involved in sales training meetings to learn product knowledge and sales techniques. Work together to initiate concepts and ideas which provide a solution for communication and sales needs.Consistently exceed 150 cold and follow up calls weekly, earning recognition as one of the top reps based on call volume.
