Winter Jr. Developer Intern
Timeline: December 2016 to January 2017This winter I have been working on Coded User Interface (UI) testing. Instead of creating test steps using TFS (what I did over the summer), this time I was writing and correcting automated test methods using Visual Studio 2015. The coded language used was visual C#.Things I learned:· Create coded UI Test project and stored it in TFS· Created tasks in team foundation server (TFS), get latest version and check-in updated methods· Implemented Helper methods for test methods (also debugging already created test methods)· Ran the Coded UI Tests (CUIT) on vSphere (virtual machine)· Familiarized with general mechanics of Visual Studio 2015
Summer Qa Intern
Timeline: June 2016 to August 2016Created documentation of test cases. Wrote around 50 test cases with each containing at least 80 to 150 steps. This has now been changed to the new system which now requires test to be no more than 15 steps. We found breaking them down into smaller chunks allowed for more controllability and usability.
Winter Qa Intern
Timeline: December 2015 to January 2016During this period of time, I began creating written test cases based on the customer requirements. These tests were used as documentation for developers as well as for future creation of automated test scripts.
