I have been involved in Banking and Finance for 20+ years. This includes multiple roles in Business Banking up to a Senior Relationship Manager for both NAB and Westpac as well as Credit Risk Review Manager over Commercial Credit with BOQ. I have been focusing on Credit Risk and Operational Risk for Commercial and Retail Loans, specialising in Credit Policy, hind-sighting and process improvements. A clear focus is identifying systemic risks in the Credit approval process to improve workflow to gain the best outcome for both the Bank and the client.My past positions have encompassed senior roles in the Sales, Credit and Hindsighting positions which has provided me with a wealth of experience in all aspects of the credit process. This included restarting the Commercial Risk Review team at BOQ and introducing targeted hind sighting at ME Bank. One of my projects at ME Bank was to implement the Credit Loss Recognition Policy, which required amending both the current Collections process as well as rewording the Policy to satisfy the regulatory requirements and allow hindsighting to ensure compliance, before hard launching the Policy with the Collections team. My passion is my family, with health and fitness a big part of my life since the birth of my son. I enjoy development projects such as photography (selling numerous photos commercially) as well as challenges such as the annual 200km Round the Bay cycling event, and the 14km City to Surf fun run in Sydney. Providing assistance to coach my son's cricket and AFL football teams and playing tennis keeps me busy outside of work. Travel is another passion, with recent family trips to Japan and New Zealand being highlights.Life is too short not to enjoy what you do. I have the unique position of experience in all aspects of Banking, with demonstrable skills in all areas.
