I am a minister in the City of Camden, New Jersey. My life's work has been to guide and encourage our city's young people. I specialize in serving the young people who have slipped between society's cracks; those at economic, social and educational disadvantage. I currently oversee an alternative education program for distressed and under-served teens and adults and I have recently redoubled efforts to provide caring mentors for the young people of the Greater Camden area. I serve as Youth Pastor at The Asbury United Methodist Church in Woodlynne. There I enjoy ministering with a wonderfully talented group of young people as we together reach out to the children of our community. I tend to have more questions than answers. I enjoy life with my wife and three children: Jordan, 23 Ayinde 19 and Amadi 17. I also love being part of the praise and worship ministry at my church and helping there wherever and however I can.

Together, through conversations, shared experiences, and serving together, they will discover their commonness and will form relationships of mutual love, encouragement, and investment. It is the aim of Watu Moja to spiritually enliven young people and to help them discover the true message and meaning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As young people learn, connect, serve, and reflect, our hope is that they will develop a Christian worldview that considers the fullness of God’s creative expression and the mission of Kingdom building throughout the global community.
