So I handed in my notice at the fruit & veg emporium, where I’d risen quickly to the dizzy heights of head of window display, each morning painstakingly composing a masterpiece in tomatoes, aubergines, cherries, celeriac, courgettes…I freelanced for nearly 10 years after that, working with amazing crews and the occasional Hollywood star, across brands like the BBC and a ton of independent production companies.
