• Lead a global team responsible for delivering operational excellence, productivity improvements and integration of former Rohm and Haas facilities into Dow organizational design and work processes. Continued to grow my understanding on how to deliver improvement in diverse cultures across the globe (North and South America, Europe, and Asia). My team was accountable for enabling the delivery of greater than $70 MM in savings. • Helped lead the team responsible for developing implementation methodology which leveraged the best of Rohm and Haas and Dow manufacturing methodologies.

• Led a corporate initiative that was responsible for driving productivity improvements and operational excellence across all manufacturing facilities (84 worldwide). The initiative generated greater than $60 MM in savings. We were able to demonstrate success in all regions by modifying our approach, where appropriate, to account for cultural differences. In addition, we delivered greater than 10% improvement in capacity, utilizing tools from Six Sigma and Lean.• Led a team of corporate experts in areas which included; maintenance excellence, reliability, operator driven reliability, asset utilization, workforce practices, and Six Sigma. • Key member of the Corporate Process Safety Committee.

• Site manager of three plants, including a Latex Emulsions Plant, Polymer Production Plant, and Digital Imaging Plant. The Bristol Site’s operating budget was over $70 MM and generated over $400 MM in sales. Managed a $20 MM capital budget.• Led a significant change initiative that reduced the operating budget by 25%, while improving plant operating performance (safety, productivity, and quality). Site received OSHA VPP certification during this time period.• Responsible for union relations and negotiations for 200+ union employees.• Managed tenant relationships for facilities in the industrial complex, which were owned by a number of major chemical companies.• Led Community Advisory Council.

Us

• Manager for a dyes manufacturing plant. Initiated a major restructuring effort at the plant. Unfortunately, a successful business model was not developed and the decision was made to close the facility. Facilitated site closure.• Initiated post-closure site development opportunities while addressing major environmental ground water issues. Rohm and Haas and our remediation contractor won a State of NJ Brownfield Award for converting the site to beneficial use. • Helped secure the toll manufacturer for production when site was shut-down.
