I was elected to the executive board of the South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SWCCG) by my peers in 2007. SWCCG is responsible for the commissioning of NHS health services for 36 practices and 260,000 patients in South Warwickshire.I am the SWCCG executive lead for IT and produce a bi-weekly newsletter for practices. I am project lead for managing primary care performance leading on a peer review process which encourages member practices to share examples of best practice and supports improvements in primary care performance. I led on the development of performance indicators to help practices better understand their performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

As practice manager at Broomfield Park Medical Centre I was responsible for the efficient and effective healthcare of 14,000 patients across two sites the main branch being an inner-city surgery in Earlsdon Coventry and the branch being the University of Warwick Health Centre.
