During my working life through conscientious effort, genuine interest and my willingness to learn new skills I have progressed through various roles.I have worked in the Quarrying Industry for 37 years starting out hands on operating mobile and fixed plant including the operation of crushing plants and pug mills while also assisting with maintenance as part of a team which has proved to be invaluable as a firm foundation for my career providing knowledge of all facets of the production process. The operation of quarry weighbridges, dealing with customers and my customer focus led me down the sales path.I have found that people are the most valuable asset and make the most difference to a company.During the years I have seen safety come a long way in the industry providing a safer work place for all.Some Key Achievements:• Research and development of a potential hard rock quarry source.• Coordination of the purchase and construction of an additional 27 metre computerised weighbridge to assist with traffic flow and minimise hold ups in despatch enabling faster truck turn around times and more competitive freight rates.• In my roles I have assisted with the development of two weighbridge dispatch programmes and a Sales quotations database which was used in different regions by sales teams.• Positive sales outcomes.• Major project quarry material production and supply coordination.• Coordination of a hard rock quarry DA.
