My methodology for personal improvement in sport and business settings, is derived from Olympic medal winning strategies. It is based on systematically identifying key areas that affect individual and team performances, then working together on these to achieve real improvements and positive results. Equally important in the approach, developed over 20 years, is identifying individual strengths and turning these into super strengths. I personally design the individualised programme of improvement and along with a team of expert colleagues, deliver interventions to address the specific areas that emerge. Effectiveness in sport is measured in terms of medal winning results, improved systems and processes, enjoyment and satisfaction. In business settings success is measured through company appraisals, peer review and line manager observations of improved specific behaviours, team dynamics and work delivery. It is also measured in terms of satisfaction and fulfilment. In both sports and business environments, an holistic approach is taken to address all performance areas, with each individual's well-being always at the heart of the drive for excellence.The business arm includes designing and delivering a bespoke programme of activity that enables individuals to take their next steps in business effectiveness at Senior Management and Director level. Personal development is at the heart of the interactive workshops and presentations. These are carefully crafted to unlock potential and improve performance, for the individual, the team and for the company.

• Responsible for designing and implementing Malaysia's elite athlete preparation programme, resulting in more Olympic and Paralympic medals being won in Rio than ever before, plus 7 World Champions.• Selection and recruitment of a multicultural staff work force to provide sports science and sports medicine support services, programming and leadership as a step change for Malaysia.• High Performance Sport Advisor to Youth and Sports Minister, YB Khairy Jamaluddin, on strategies, activities and policies (Aug 2017-May 2018).• Responsible for ensuring optimal athlete preparations before and at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and Commonwealth Games Gold Coast 2018.

• Designing the strategic plan for the organisation, which delivers sports from development through to High Performance.• Personally designed the High Performance Programme, which has helped 2 World Champions and an Olympic 2012 Athlete. Directly responsible for the preparation of the Commonwealth Games Team 2014.

• Designed and delivered the strategic plan for Olympic Games success, with £1.4million funding initially and then secured £2.8million leading into the Games.• Focused on coach recruitment and development, alongside sports science support deployment.• Olympic Medal Target achieved - Gold Medal won by Peter Wilson in double trap.

• Responsible for the design and implementation of a comprehensive development programme, ‘Coaching the Coaches’, comprising needs analysis and action planning, for 14 coaches of Level 3 and above around the country.• This group recorded the best event athlete results in the country, exceeding all targets.

• Worked with multiple agencies including sports federations and government departments, to successfully plan the optimal use of the Olympic venues in London, post-Games. For example, the Aquatics Centre dry training and gym area, in use post Games for local residents, visitors and the GB national diving squad.• Seconded 2 days a week from the English Institute of Sport as High Performance Sport Advisor.

As a founding senior member of staff at EIS, I was responsible for designing and subsequently implementing the support systems, initially in the East from inception, then South East followed by London too.Selected and recruited staff in management, administration, sports medicine and the wide range of sports science disciplines.Built excellent working relationships with stakeholders in sometimes challenging environments, including national governing bodies, government agencies, universities right through to the end users, the athletes themselves.
