Responsible for strategic direction, global hands on leadership and management of a significant P&L for the Power & Energy Aftermarket Service and Repair group. Group includes a network of operational service sites in U.S, UK, Middle East and APAC. Global team is regionally structured, with cross functional operational and support responsibilities to create and satisfy demand that enable us to meet top and bottom line expectations locally, regionally and globally.Role has required • Assessment of platform to identify gaps & opportunities to establish new profitable revenue streams. • Structured prioritization approach to developing new market(s) and individual initiatives/ opportunities• Definition and managerial commitment to meeting/ exceeding return on investment and financial goalsSupported by the consistent focus on enabling long term sustainable profitable growth, by identifying/ maintaining customer intimacy with existing users and operational installed base.Critical success factors that are enabling the development and success of global group include:• Organization and operational structure underpinned by process development/ improvement• Financial planning and stewardship at all levels – globally, regionally and by location• Strategic vision & execution – direction for team - enable aspirations & define market position(s)• Market & channel strategy – define, communicate & execute aftermarket value propositions• Aftermarket portfolio definition and development – offer upgrades & expansionIn addition I am very focused on developing collaborative relationships with in country and original equipment (new project equipment) leadership to ensure relationships are maintained, so focus can be jointly applied to the external environment.
