CurrentManage personnel in Compliance and Environmental Departments.Review all waste for regulatory/license or permit applicability - approve waste profiles.Formulate decisions on the disposition of waste prior to receiving and again after the waste is accepted.Review all analytical data for regulatory compliance and approve waste for disposal based on the review. Collect additional data when needed.Work closely with regulators from Utah Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste, Utah Division of Radiation Control, Utah Division of Air Quality, and EPA.Compose variance requests when needed and present the request to the Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Board.Project management on several successful large projects including new disposal facilities, new disposal options (concrete overpacks) and new treatment technologies (thermal desorption).Design several waste management and regulatory processes (e.g., small-scale mixer, macro capsules, Cover Test Cell).
