About Tim Peake

While urban design is traditionally formulated in relation to the development industry, my work explores the expansion of design roles in society to embrace co-production and so to address inequalities embodied in the neoliberal city. I focus my practice on critical and participatory approaches to design for urban environments and commons management that alter social practices and public life. I am skilled in initiating and leading improvement projects for both public and private clients in the educational, creative, cultural, and regeneration sectors. My motivation is defined and driven by programmes and projects that result in community wealth building, optimal asset use, long term sustainable outcomes and value adding place-making.Professional qualifications include: PMG Change Manager, AMP PRINCE 2 Practitioner, RIBA Client Adviser, RIBA Chartered Architect and RSA FellowI am currently working as a PhD design researcher into the civic commons at London Metropolitan University :https://www.londonmet.ac.uk/research/centres-groups-and-units/the-centre-for-urban-and-built-ecologies/research-projects-and-funding/urban-commons-research-workshop/
