Highly involved in the design, support, and technical teams for the UIH Linac. Tasked with supplying technical expertise to project teams including System Engineering, Beam Generation, Physics, Imaging, Test, Service and CO. Test and analyze the system or subsystems of the UIH Linac providing feedback to the technical teams helping them to meet the design requirements. Function as a point of contact for information based on experience of testing linear accelerators. Highly involved with the Test Team writing test cases, procedures and documents. Provided Basic Linac and Radiation Safety training to UIH Shanghai colleagues. Instrumental in the design work of the planned UIH bunkers. Introduced UIH to Altair for the technical expertise and development of the UIH waveguide.

Assist engineer to develop, test and write reports of new dosimetry system with FPGA. Completes complex material specification, schematic preparation and follow-up to ensure proper and effective implementation. Performs complex design, development, testing and modifications of solutions. Performs explanations and clarifies information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of complex specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data. Performs communication of complex technical and commercial issues. Completes recommendations for complex new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet requirements. Performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Identifies and resolves more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.

Conducts very complex individual and group linear accelerator training courses and activities for Siemens employees and customers worldwide. Guides the monitoring of the effectiveness of course materials, reviews feedback, and modifies/revises course materials. Develops technical training materials from the needs analyses and course objectives to study aids. Partners with marketing and product experts. Maintains comprehensive knowledge on the application, installation, and operation of all assigned products, tools and services. May identify, evaluate and obtain training programs and materials from external vendors. Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field. Applies advanced skills to resolve very complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.

Work in a fast pace team environment with excellent attendance. Responsible for functional test, calibration, and adjustments of linear accelerator system and its sub-system. Isolate malfunctions, formulate and coordinate resolutions to problems. Perform tests and adjustments of linear accelerator accessories and associated assemblies. Assist physicists and engineers with issues regarding the linear accelerator. Train junior employees on all aspects of the linear accelerator. Record and compile test results for device history records. Ensure all test equipment is functional and calibrated. Order test equipment and supplies for everyday operations. Create and enter data into Word and Excel spreadsheets.

Calibrate, test, maintain, and repair Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic equipment. Perform computer/software driven calibrations on test equipment. Perform research on the various test equipment using manufacturers manuals and by contacting the manufacturers. Maintain database on all test equipment in inventory.

Maintain quality standards of calibration for various Fortune 500 companies. Client base include DuPont, Pac Bell and Westinghouse. Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate a wide variety of equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, hydraulic and pneumatic gauges, control panels and levelmatics.

Maintained the operations of sophisticated electronic equipment, ensuring reliability and quality standards. Managed program to ensure 95% availability of over 3500 calibrated assets. Supervised and trained on-board staff on the proper operation and integration of sophisticated electronic aircraft carrier equipment.
