A lifetime model maker with a passion for detail and accuracy, with 4 decades of professional experience in a wide variety of subjects, processes, materials, machines and software. I am currently working at Amalgam Modelmaking in Bristol. My previous position with a world-leading design consultancy (Kinneir Dufort Design Ltd of Bristol) allowed me to work successfully on a huge variety of projects, with clients ranging from individual start-ups to multi million pound projects for global customers. I am aware of the importance of always working to the highest quality possible, within a team or individually, while meeting or exceeding timescale and budgetary requirements.-Experienced in PU resin casting, mould making, vacuum forming, turning, and CNC milling in aluminium, plastics and chemical wood.-Nearly 20 years experience with 3D printing with both SLA and FDM printers. Fitting and assembly. Laser cutting and marking in plastics, wood, paper, card.-Design, manufacture and use of master parts, fixtures, jigs and fittings for machining and assembly. Design of secondary moulds for rapid casting production.
