I am a design engineer who is responsible for the design of the next generation street sweepers. Together with a team of colleagues the machine is rebuilt from the ground, with innovations in the drive train, suspension and functionality. In addition there is also a lot of improvement in design for manufacturing, design for assembly, and user experience with an overhaul of the driver cabin.

I substitute judo lessons at the judo school where I train myself. I mainly teach parents who do judo with their children, which is a dynamic and different take on judo than most are used to. I also take over lessons from colleagues training at black belt level.

Performing a successful graduation project focused on ergonomics for the new generation of trolleys of Zodiac Aerospace. The project was awarded with an 8.5/10

Together with the head of design at Rollor I worked on the development of the Rollor suitroller. My tasks ranged from producing marketing posters with Photoshop and Illustrator, producing 3D models of the product range in Rhinoceros, and developing the context vision for the new generation of the Rollor suitroller with the use of Vision in Product approach. Additionally, I aided in the production of the budget version of the Rollor suitroller.

As a high school teacher at the Roemer Visscher College I worked with students that often had difficulty learning or a troublesome domestic environment. I started of with supporting students in homework rooms. Afterwards I gave woodworking for 1 year. Alongside my studies I teached up to 14 hours a week.

My vision for the future of education is that people working at large companies will have to teach physics, mathematics and chemistry to students. The current shortage on teachers will continue to rise. That is why I took this option for my minor, preparing myself for this possible future.
