Responsibilities include operating and maintaining a drilling rigs diesel and electric engines. Routine checks of the equipment on location and daily services on all vital pieces of equipment. Continuous inventory of the tools, and materials needed to maintain an efficient operation. Operating and maintenance of the rigs boiler system. Have a good knowledge of the day to day tasks throughout the cycle of drilling a well. Responsible for the safety and training of the newest members to drilling rigs crew.

Installed geothermal ground loop heating systems throughout Canada. Assisted and supervised the drilling of geothermal wells. Required to interpret blueprints for the successful install of these projects. Good construction knowledge with respect to excavation, shoring, fusion welding and all the associated tools required for such projects.
