Pravee (Tim) Kruachottikul, PhD. is an academic and entrepreneur. He is a faculty member at the Innovation and Digital Health Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, where he oversees of Digital Health Program and manages Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Healthcare activities. His wealth of knowledge combined both academic and professional experience in engineering, entrepreneurship, operation, and general management of various technology, research and innovation-driven organizations ranges from his current role as lecturer, principal investigator, prior head of Chulalongkorn University Technology Center, and Director in different companies with a strong hands-on track record ranging from co-founder, operation, management, and advisory roles in several startups and organizations in various domains. With a graduate PhD. in Innovation Management, Master of Entrepreneurship, Master and Bachelor of Engineering, research experience, and many Professional and Graduate Certificates, he is passionate both practical and research and has a distinguished technical and operations-savvy managerial career. Throughout his professional career, he has experienced many challenges across different venture journeys, especially in the early stage, at both individual and organizational levels. This has led to his research interest in finding the approach to accelerate the transformation of ideas to solve real-world problems with technologies. He integrates the theoretical and practical elements, combining an Entrepreneurial Within with a User-Centric Systematic approach to explore, develop, validate, and implement the idea. Overall, his area of research focuses on combining the User-Centric Innovation Development Approach with applied Digital and DeepTech to launch impactful ventures, especially in healthcare, medical, and software spaces.
