Following Canterbury Earthquake Sequence events, Council representative for contact/liaison with CERA with respect to Council-owned buildings. Coordinated damage and structural assessments carried-out by external consultants.Developed and coordinated decision-making processes for the occupation of Council-owned buildings following earthquake events. Key input to strengthening and repair projects including design and option development, cost estimating and implementation.Lead Council representative for EQRNet seismic monitoring network - a dense network of 150 sensors developed with project partner Canterbury Seismic Instruments providing real-time ground shaking and building response information. EQRNet has gained national and international recognition winning the 2019 ALGENZ Award for Innovation in Asset and Infrastructure Management in 2019 and the IDC Smart City Asia/Pacific Award in 2020.Coordinated Earthquake Prone Building (EPB) compliance/response for Council-owned EPBs.
