I review the architectural plans for commercial renovations and new construction prior to construction and perform post construction on-site accessibility inspections to determine compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards. I was responsible for the management of all areas of manufacturing and field construction for custom equipment for large bakery companies. I helped to verify design and fabrication of the equipment and to coordinate build out at the construction sites to make sure that all the equipment manufactured would fit properly as designed and that the engineered and fabricated equipment was compliant with all codes for Federal, State, Local and OSHA as required. Was responsible for all Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) in the manufacturing facility and in the field. I was responsible for managing cost and profitability.

I worked directly with churches in all phases of the projects to interface with Architects, Civil Engineers, City Planning, church staff, and volunteers to support in the planning, design, and construction of new and renovated religious facilities. As the Construction Manager or Projects Manager, I worked closely with the Cities, Architect, and Civil Engineers to obtain the necessary building permits and to make sure all codes were met and city inspections were completed as required. I supported the churches with design, variances, code compliance, purchasing, costing, and construction to make sure the project was on or below budget and completed within the time-frame required.I continue to work as an informal church building consultant for many churches in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

Healthcare/Communication DivisionI filled many management positions in the 15.5 years within the Healthcare Division of Executone Systems. I worked closely with the architects and General Contractors for new construction, renovations, and abatements of hospitals in the North Texas area. I provided direct support to the architects and onsite construction personnel to ensure each project was compliant for all code requirements and installed in a proficient and productive manner. I was responsible for the system design, conduit/wiring layout, code compliance, installation, and training of all communication systems in hospitals, medical facilities, and doctor’s offices to make sure the design and functionality was compliant to all state and local codes. Reviewed architectural layout and revised as needed to ensure compliance. I was responsible for turnkey and supervisory installations from the review process thru the Delivery and Acceptance. I was responsible for revising all the redlined drawings and to provide complete As-Built drawings to the architect, contractor, and customer.
