An entrepreneur and web developer, I founded Eclipse Media Solutions in 2007 to helpbusinesses, non-profits, and startups connect with their target audiences online.I’ve been involved in every aspect of the business from the very beginning, and I maintain thathands-on approach today, even as our team and client roster have grown. On the technicalside, I’ve immersed myself in information architecture, UI/UX design, and front- and back-enddevelopment. As the business owner, I’ve been responsible for sales, marketing, finance, clientrelations, and project management.In 2013, while still running Eclipse, I became the Chief Technical Officer of Outdoor Project, anoutdoor adventure travel platform. In this role, I was responsible for translating the vision ofthe company, its robust website, and enthusiastic community into a technical roadmap to becarried out by our team of developers—on time and on budget.After stepping back from Outdoor Project in 2017, I have doubled down on the success ofEclipse, acquiring another Portland-based web development firm, growing our team, andbuilding relationships with agencies and strategic partners.
